Lesson Program




Fox Ridge Farm (FRF) is dedicated to bringing the Equine experience to as many people as possible. FRF offers the residents of The United States, Canada and surrounding countries a very active horse facility to enjoy. In addition to the lessons available to the public, the Farm offers birthday parties with hay rides and candy hunts for groups and an active camp program during the school vacations. These activities provide a means for young people in the community to experience horses and an opportunity to learn about the responsibilities that go with them.

Fox Ridge Farm offers lessons 6 days a week. An Introductory/Evaluation lesson is available at no charge. The evaluations must be scheduled in advance and are held on Saturdays. In addition to the evaluations and general lessons, practice rides are available for clients.


The following are the classes offered; Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced riding levels will be determined by an orientation period, test, and at the 1st free lesson, you can be bumped up or down from that time. You can chose to be in a lower level than placed. Here are the classes available:

•Western Pleasure, Show and/or Pleasure
•English Pleasure, Show and/or Pleasure
•Hunter Under Saddle, Show
•Hunter Over Fences, Show
•Jumping, Show
•Dressage, Show
•Cross-Country, Show
•Endurance, Show
•Country English Pleasure/Park/Saddleseat, Show and/or Pleasure
•Fine Harness Driving, Show and/or Pleasure
•Draft Harness Driving, Show and/or Pleasure
•Competitive Driving (available sometimes)
